AirBaltic is a Latvian based airline which allows customers to purchase flights around Europe and other international destinations. AirBaltic is the primary flight carrier of Latvia and maintains its headquarters in the Riga International Airport. In 2014, AirBaltic was the world’s first airline to accept Bitcoin. Purchases made via Bitcoin are only available for basic tickets for flights booked at least 5 days ahead of the departure date. In addition to the above, the airline has a loyalty club which allows customers valuable rewards and free flights, regardless of whether the customer is a frequent traveler or flies once a year.
